Moira E. Vilardo (Harrington), 60, beloved wife of Louis, devoted mother of Marisa (Steven Gondol) Vilardo, Andrea (Mark) Belles, and Lia Vilardo. Moira was born in Denver, Colorado, March 21, 1951. She was the loving daughter of Mary Ann and the late Dr. Louis Harrington, dear sister of Kevin (Cathy) Harrington, Kathleen (Rick) Belha, Mary Lou (Glen) Easterbrook, Brian (Cheryl) Harrington, Sheila Harrington, Deirdre (Paul) Costabile, Sean Harrington, Dennis (Lore) Harrington, Mark (Anne) Harrington, and Conn (Cathy Lambeth) Harrington, and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Moira unexpectedly passed away July 6, 2011 in Cincinnati, OH during her second battle against breast cancer. She went to the angels with her family by her side. Moira graduated from Marygrove College in Detroit, MI and became a teacher. She had a passion for teaching and was a dedicated kindergarten teacher at Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary. She was an animal lover, an artist, and a music enthusiast. She loved to sing and dance and had a wonderfully happy spirit and a zest for life. She was beloved by all and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be at Mueller Parker Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040 on Sunday, July 10 from 3-6 PM. A second visitation will be held on Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd, West Chester, OH 45069 from 10 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. There will be a graveside service at St. Joseph Cemetery, 2520 W. Willow St., Lansing, MI on Tuesday, July 12 at 2:00 PM, where she will be laid to rest in the family plot beside her dad.
