Mary Therese Sandy-Neville, 50, beloved wife of Russell E. dear mother of Taylor M. Neville, step mother of Brandie N. Combs, daughter of Mary Sandy (nee Calo) and Joseph Sandy, step daughter of Patricia Sandy, sister of Elizabeth Sandy-Kremer, step sister of Robert Pomaro (Janis), Mark Pomaro (Marina) and Lisa Pomaro, aunt of Billy Kremer, Jennifer, Angelina and Armando Pomaro. Preceded in death by grandparents Angeline and Philip Calo and Margaret and Ralph Sandy, aunt Rita Calo Stroup and niece Shannon Pomaro. She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and God Mother Patty Floryjanski. Passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Mary attended St. Nicholas Grade School and graduated from Struthers High School in 1976. She graduated from Youngstown State University in 1980 with a degree in Criminal Justice. Mary worked as an advocate for battered women, a police officer for the City of Youngstown, an Agent for the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and a Special Agent for the Drug Enforcement Administration from which she retired in 2008. Mary fought a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer for 27 months. Visitation 4:00-9:00PM Monday, April 13, at Mueller Parker Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Funeral Mass 11:00AM Tuesday, April 14 at St. Susanna Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason. A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Mary's Life will also be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at St. Charles Church in Boardman, Ohio where friends will received from 9:30AM to the time of the Memorial Mass.
