Daniel Wayne Malkus, Sr., born December 8, 1963, in Phoenix, AZ; passed away on March 6, 2009, in Liberty Township, Ohio. Daniel grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Alhambra high school. He met his future wife, Carolanne Friedman, in Phoenix in 1988. They were married on October 18, 1992. They became a blended family with Danny becoming Dad to Jeremy, Aaron and Stuart. Twins, Amanda and Kimberly; and later Daniel, Jr. and Benjamin were all welcome additions to the family. They left Phoenix in 2001 to go to Florida for a career opportunity. Another career move took the family to Ohio in 2002 where the family still makes their home. Danny was admired by both friends and family for his love for his wife and children and his quick wit. Danny was a wizard with computers and loved the outdoors. In addition to being a loving husband, he was a loving father, son and brother. Daniel is survived by his wife, Carolanne, his mother, Doris Malkus, his father, Henry Malkus and wife Juna, sisters, Velma Edwards and Leaanne Reyes, children Jeremy Friedman, Aaron Wilson, Stuart Marshall, Amanda Malkus, Kimberly Malkus, Daniel Malkus, Jr., and Benjamin Malkus. He will also be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held, Monday, March 9 at 7PM at Lakota Pointe Clubhouse, 6798 Lakota Pointe Lane, Liberty Township, Ohio, 45044. Danny's ashes will be spread in his beloved White Tank Mountains in Arizona at a later date.
