Henry Glen Nunnery 86, beloved husband of 31 years to Sandra Nunnery (nee Haines), passed away peacefully October 31, 2011. Glen retired after 28 years of service from the United States Air Force in 1978 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Fairborn, Ohio. He and his wife returned to Ohio from Mississippi in August and have been residing in Deerfield Township. Glen was a member of the Mississippi State Guard for 18 years and retired as a Colonel. He was a member of the John Quitman Masonic Lodge No#244 in Auburn Mississippi. Glen was also a member of the American Legion, VFW, Disabled Veterans Association and the Sons of the Confederacy in Summit Mississippi. Glen was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia (nee Fielder). He was a devoted Father to Henry Glen (Deb) Nunnery Jr., Burks Nunnery, Bruce (Karla) Nunnery, Robin Wagner and Barbara (Daniel) Moore. The Son of Griff and Mary Nunnery, dear brother of Gertrude Spring the late Agnes Lofton and Hazel Cowart. Dear and Special Friend Jay Boys. Loving Grandfather to Henry Glen (Missy) Nunnery III, Blair (Mary) Nunnery, Morgan Nunnery(Fianc Lisa Browning), Sgt. Stephen Rutledge US Army, Katelin Rutledge, April Moore, Pfc Kathryn Moore US Army and Stephanie Moore. Great Grandfather to Samantha Nunnery, Aurora Nunnery, Chopper Wayne Chord and Step-Great grandfather of James Coss. Visitation will be at Mueller Parker Funeral Home 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040 on Thursday, November 3 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Graveside service will be at the Dayton National Cemetery 4100 W. Third St. Dayton, Ohio 45428 at 1:00 PM.
