Haas (nee Middendorf), devoted father of Gene (Deb) Haas, Jr., Lisa (Walt) Taggart, Maria (Trip) Topken, Andrea (Eugene) Smith, David (Sharon) Haas and Rebecca Haas, dear brother of Norbert and Leo Haas, loving grandpa of Tonya (Andrew) Smith, Jennifer (Jeff) Haglage, Melissa (Brad) Williams, Stephanie (Billy) Schmidt, Rachel Taggart, Zachary Taggart, Lauren Topken, Justin Smith, Joey Smith, Jordan Smith, Sarah Haas, Jessica Haas, Nicholas Haas, Jacob Haas and the late Joshua Smith and great-grandpa of Katelyn Smith, Dhane Haglage, Mitchell Haglage, Audrey Williams, Madelyn Williams, Will Schmidt and Dexter Schmidt. Passed away suddenly April 11, 2011. Gene enjoyed playing the piano at the Mason Senior Center.
