WORLD WAR II VETERAN US NAVY Donald L. Hava, 86, passed away suddenly at his home in Mason, Ohio January 26, 2013. He was the loving husband of Cora Ann Hava for 65 wonderful years. Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1926, he also lived in Ravenna, Ohio, Parsippany, New Jersey, and Mason, Ohio. He was a World War II Navy Veteran having served as a Radio Man in the South Pacific. He worked for 30 years with the Hoover Company mostly as a Branch Manager in New York, NY, Watchung, NJ, and Cincinnati, OH. He is also the co-founder of Landen Lawn Care in Cincinnati. His passions were his family, his faith, and his Country, and he was a member of Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church in Liberty Township, Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife, Cora Ann (Brandes), his four children, Dale (Gerry) Hava, Lori Cooper, Debbie (Mike) Romanello and Denise (Carl) Grosse, loving grandfather of 11, Matthew Mangano, Dana Mangano, Casey Higgs, Mark Mangano, David Hava, Brian Hava, Kevin Hava, Felicia Lorelli, Ilana (Ray) Lee, Emma Grosse, and Johanna Grosse, and 12 great grandchildren, Colleen Hava, Declan Hava, Maeve Hava, Calan Hava, Everett Hava, Beatrice Hava, Robin Hava, Dominic Mangano, Dimitri Mangano, Hudson Szpond, Braydon Lee, and Alexa Lee. Visitation hours are 5 - 8 P.M. on Thursday, January 31 at Mueller Parker Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 1, 10:00 A.M. at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church, 7127 Dutchland Pkwy, Liberty Twp., OH 45044 with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, Ohio complete with a Naval Honor Guard Service.
