WORLD WAR II NAVY VETERAN Harry E. 'Gene' Close, 89, beloved husband of the late Mary M. Close (nee Granieri), devoted father of Bonnie (Arnie) Penix and the late Richard (Angie) Close, loving grandfather of Natalie (Scott) Cooper and Madeline (Pat) Reuszer and great-grandfather of Camden, Mason and Riley Cooper and Charlie Reuszer, brother of the late Dave Close and Ruth Reynolds, caring uncle of Larry, Nancy, Janet, Patricia, Shirley and Elizabeth. Passed away November 10, 2010. Graveside service will be held at Byron Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Road, Fairborn, OH 45324 on Friday, November 12 at 2:00 PM.
