Mary (Betty) E. Freeman (nee Overholt), 91, wife of the late William V. Freeman, mother of the late William (Jerry) Freeman and Reggie (Philip) Roy, grandmother of Lynette (James) Barresi, Todd Freeman, Jodie (Joel) Wetzstein, Lucas Roy and Seth Roy, great-grandmother of Nicole and Michael Barresi and Avery, Kaiden and Makenna Wetzstein also survived by her brother Henry Vail Overholt of Flushing, Michigan. Passed away June 4, 2011. Memorial Service at First Presbyterian Church of Lapeer, 433 Calhoun Street, Lapeer, Michigan on Saturday, September 3rd at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place at Mt. She worked at the Lapeer County Bank and Trust for 15 years. As an avid bridge player she demonstrated her talent with numbers. Her artistry showed through her painting projects as well as her cooking. She also loved crossword puzzles and reading. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lapeer. Bettys retirement years were spent golfing and traveling to several areas around the country. In 2004, Betty moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she ended her long and healthy life.
