US ARMY VETERAN Catherine W. Verde (nee Parks), 79, beloved wife of the late John V. 'Jack' Verde, devoted mother of Jo Anne (Ben) Dibble and Cathy (Tony) Zajac, loving grandmother of Bethany and Nathan Dibble and Christian and Marielena Zajac, dear niece of Ken and Edna Girton, sister of David and Rex Girton. Passed away April 1, 2011. Catherine served as a Lieutenant in the US Army and then dedicated 20 years to the nursing profession while living in Connecticut.
