Gerene M. Stevens, 87, wife of the late Rex W., dear mother of Judy C. Marvin (Jack) of West Chester, OH, step mother of Tom Stevens (Marilyn) of Ashville, NC, sister of Hubert Fields, Jr. of Louisville, KY, Gladola Barton of London KY, Celestine Ramsaur of Jackson, TN, Jewell Freeman of West Chester, OH and the late Eula and Kenneth Fields, aunt and great aunt. Passed away June 4, 2008. Gerene was born in London, KY on May 9, 1921 to Hubert Fields and Mary Warner Fields. She graduated from High School in London, KY and furthered her education at Sue Bennett College in London, KY. She worked as an elementary school teacher in London, KY. After moving to Ohio, she worked for the Wright Company in the payroll department and later worked as an Executive Secretary for the RCA Company. Visitation at Norwood Christian Church, 4400 Ashland Avenue, Cinti, OH 45212 on Saturday, June 7 from 11:00am to service time at Noon. Interment will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery following the funeral service. Contributions may be made to the church. Mueller Parker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
