Edna Ann Meyer

Edna A. Meyer, (nee Maine) died Jan 1, 2008 after a short but hard fought battle with cancer at age 66. Resident of Springdale, OH formerly of West Chester, OH. She was a retired school teacher. Recently, she enjoyed hostessing at the Centruy Inn in Glendale where she was surrounded by good friends. She was an active member of the Elks and loved to travel. She is survived by a son, Andrew (Deanna) Meyer of West Chester, daughter Beth (Rusty) Williams of Anderson Twp., seven grandchildren Heather, Brittany, Amberly, Abby, Alex, Grey, and Lainey, and one great grandson Desmond. Also survived by her siblings Bill (Norma) Maine, Kathy (Frank) Peterse, and Bob (Pat) Maine, nieces and nephews Susie, Jeannie, Bill, Sandi, Bob, Dawn, Scott, and Adrian, as well as ten great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, William and Vivian. A heartfelt thanks to our selfless friend Patty Wade for your endless efforts over the past month and your unconditional friendship. Special thanks to Norma for a lifetime of friendship and to Rita for all that you have done. We appreciate every one who extended their help and prayers druing this journey. She is deeply missed by her family and friends whom she cherished, too many to acknowlege. She was truly a generous, pure soul who spent so much time helping others. She now dances in Heaven. To honor and celebrate her life, a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 19, at 3 pm at Mueller Parker F.H., 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH. A gathering of friends and family will immediately follow from 4-6 in the reception area.
