Alex T. Bain, passed away December 25th at home in Mason. He was a student at the University of Cincinnati and a 2009 graduate of Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. He was a cherished son of Dr. Michael Bain and the late Linda T. Bain and a beloved brother of Ellyn Beth Bain. He was very involved in contemporary Christian music and his own band "Give us the Night" performed in many local benefit concerts. Alex was instrumental in promoting "To Write Love on Her Arms', a charity dedicated to prevention of suicide and self harm. He started the chapter on the UC Campus and spoke passionately throughout the community. Everyone that met Alex knew he had a special skill in understanding people and their needs. His favorite phrase was " a life lived for others is a life worthwhile". Gifted with a servant's heart, he lifted up the lives of all those blessed to have called him a friend. With selfless dedication and kindness, his life exemplified the faith he lived every day. We will all miss his humor, devotion, and unbounded spirit. A service of celebration will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday December 30 at Montgomery Community Church, 11251 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati Ohio 45249.
