William G. 'Bill' Grimes , age 59 beloved husband for 37 years of Sheryl J. Grimes (Abbott), dear brother of Frankie Hollenkamp and Roger Grimes and brother-in-law of Greg McKenzie, loving uncle of Melinda Fischer, Melissa Ruffner, Gary Hollenkamp, Jordan and Sean McKenzie. Longtime resident of Mason passed away June 20, 2008. Visitation at MUELLER PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason on Friday, June 27 from 4-8 PM. To send a condolence visit www.muellerparker.com Billy Grimes , age 59 was a decorated war veteran. He received three Purple Hearts and various other commendations for his tours in Vietnam. He is well known for his involvement with Mason youth football and baseball. Bill started coaching in 1974 shortly after moving to Mason from Northern Kentucky with his wife Sheryl. His dedication to his teams is well known. He served as President of the football league for the last several years, always wanting to keep a hand in the program though he wasn't coaching any longer.
