Margaret A. Eichel (nee Ens), 86, beloved wife of the late Herman Joseph Eichel, devoted mother of Dr. Joseph (Linda) Eichel, Virginia (Edward) Bentley, John (Margaret) Eichel, Paul (Catherine) Eichel and Peter (Ann) Eichel, dear sister of Mary (Robert) Rotterman, Lawrence (Leontine) Ens and the late Catherine (Ney) Lizardi and sister-in-law of Charles Richard Eichel, loving grandmother of Elizabeth (Benedick), Erin, Benjamin, Catherine, Lauren, Kathleen (Siegfried), Gregory (Aki), Geoffrey, Suzanne (Ian), Jennifer (Ryan), Carolyn, Carl (Kate), Daniel, Julia, Christina (Lou), Bethany (Adam) and William, great-grandmother of nine with two on the way. Passed away peacefully Friday, January 31, 2014. One of four children born to Lawrence Ens and Lucille (Lachey) Ens, Margaret was a native of Dayton, Ohio. After attending St. Agnes School and Julienne High, Margaret became one of the first women to graduate from the University of Dayton with a degree in mathematics. While supporting her husband's career through 13 moves covering 6 states coast to coast, Margaret found opportunities to use her math skills in a variety of work, ranging from teaching, banking, office managing, and volunteer tutoring. Still, Margaret's ultimate legacy will always remain her family. Visitation at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Friday, February 7 from 5-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Albert the Great, 3033 Far Hills Avenue, Kettering, OH 45429 on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment in Sidney, OH.
