Lucy May Howard

Mrs. Howard was born October 18, 1914 in Lily,KY. She was a former teacher in Laurel County, KY and a retired Licensed Practical Nurse from Longview and Drake Hospitals in Cincinnati,OH.

Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by : her parents, Elmer and Arie Frances Bryant ; her husband, Cecil Howard; her brother, Carl Bryant; her sisters, Lida Bryant Evans and Ruth Bryant Sack ; her grandson, Scott Howard.

Mrs. Howards surviving siblings are : Bertha Lee Bryant Fields of Fairfield,OH ; Ruby Bryant Noe of London,KY ; Muriel Bryant Peters (Ken) of Union,KY ; Eddie Bryant (Imogene) of Lily,KY ; Noel Bryant (Alma) of Florence,KY ; Louise Bryant Lynn of Fairfield,OH.

Mrs. Howard is survived by her childern: son, Harold Howard of Mason,OH ; daughter, Marilyn H. Frye (Jim) of Mason,OH ; son, Phillip Howard (Nancy) of New Trention,IN.

Mrs. Howards surviving grandchildren are : James Frye of Mason,OH ; Sonja F. Yates (David) of Lebanon,OH ; Akemi H. Fink (John) of Greensboro,NC ; Nick Howard of Charlestown,SC ; Keith Howard (Tracy) of Cincinnati,OH.

Her surviving great grandchildren are: Rebecca Howard and Rachel Howard (Nick Howard) ; Haley Frye (James Frye) ; Alex, Hannah, Rachel, and Chris Yates (Sonja F. Yates) ; Avery, Jack, and Ann Fink (Akemi H. Fink) ; Aslin and Gabriel Howard (Keith Howard).

Mrs. Howard is survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Howard will be conducted on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel in Corbin,KY. Mrs. Howards nephew, the Reverend Gary Evans will officiate his aunts service.

Visitation for Mrs. Howard will be prior to her funeral service, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Immediate family visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Interment for Mrs. Howard will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy,KY.
