David Grey Perry of Mason, Ohio, formerly of Plymouth, Massachusetts, died peacefully surrounded by family on April 12, 2011 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debra L. Perry (nee Joubert), and their daughter, Nicole A. Perry, as well as his parents, L. Grey and Nancy S. Perry of Vonore, Tennessee; his sister, Beth P. Stephens, and her husband Ford, of Richmond, Virginia; his brother, Geoffrey O. Perry, and his wife, Christine, of Avon, Connecticut; and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

David was born in New York, New York, in 1960 and grew up in Westford, Massachusetts. He graduated from Westford Academy in 1978, and received a bachelor of arts from the University of New Hampshire in 1982. A gifted athlete, David excelled at skiing, tennis, and basketball in his youth. He had a lifelong love of the game of golf, a family tradition he shared with his father, uncle, and brother. David's professional career included a variety of positions in management, manufacturing and print production. David is remembered as a gentle-hearted man with a self-effacing sense of humor. He was loved and respected by family, friends, and colleagues alike. His selfless and abiding concern for others, his kindness, and his compassion will continue to be a means of grace for those whose lives he touched.

Memorial Service will be held at Mueller Parker Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Saturday, April 16 at 2:30 PM. Immediatly following the service the family will receive friends and neighbors in the MP Community rooms.
