Alma M. Federle (nee Cole) , passed away on July 29, 2022, age 91. Born to Carl and Bruce (nee Poe) Cole on March 18, 1931, in South Lebanon, Ohio.
Did you ever meet someone who could make a friend while waiting for a table at a restaurant? That was Alma. Her warmth and genuine interest in others drew adults, children, and animals to her. She treasured life-long friends from high school. She sparkled with interest and enthusiasm for all life had to offer, enjoying travel, music, pets, and friendship.
Her true passion was her family. It began with her love and devotion to her husband, Alvin. Lovers, friends, and soul mates, they were seldom apart throughout their 69 years of marriage. Their love for each other was an example of the selflessness and faithfulness that many seek but few achieve. Hard work, laughter and fun were their calling cards. Their children were fortunate to not only be touched by their love but molded by it.
She will be missed by many.
Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Bruce Cole and brother, Raymond Darrel Cole.
Alma is the beloved wife of 69 years to Alvin J. Federle. Loving mother of Nancy (Mark) Glorius, John (Sherry) Federle, Bill (Sherri) Federle and Mark (Nancy) Federle. Grandmother to Chris (Amy), Kate, Amy, Joe, Greg (Megan), Mike (Alyn), Jeffery, AJ, Keith (Eleni), Jake and Max and great grandmother to Colleen, Elijah, Benjamin, Jacob, Zach, Ian, Charlie, Brooks, and Cade.
