Alvin 'Al' Cook

Alvin "Al" Cook, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, June 7, 2019 at West Chester Hospital.  He was born Wednesday, December 1, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Alvin J. and Betty J. (nee Tharp) Cook.

With a love of his country, Al served in the United States Army.  He retired as President from Heroux Devtek, currently known as Midstate Machine.  He enjoyed golf, traveling, his dog Boomer, and spending time with his family, especially in Hilton Head.

Al was preceded in death by: his parents, Alvin and Betty Cook; daughter, Annette Zide; brothers-in-law, Bill Fischer and Jack Sanders; and sisters-in-law, Brenda Cook and Candie Cook.

Al is survived by: wife, Jeanie (nee Carson) Cook; sons, David (Kelly) Cook and Tony (Ann) Cook; daughter, Jenny (Sean) Nestle; son-in-law, John  Zide; grandchildren, Tanner, Ethan, Cameryn, Kaitlyn & Casey Cook, Matthew & Andrew Hunt, Addison & Will Nestle, and Alexis, Sydney & Izabel Zide; siblings, Linda Fischer, Denny (Mary) Cook, Tommy Cook, Keith Cook, Dorothy Sanders and Michael (Cindy) Cook; and many loving family members and friends.

Prayer Service will be Friday, June 14, 2019 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Funeral Home.  Memorial Service will follow at 2:30 PM.
