Alvin J. Federle passed away on March 21, 2025, age 93. Born to William and Rose (nee Walsman) Federle on September 3, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Alvin was proud of his farming background and used many of the skills learned early in life to establish a successful business as a developer and custom home builder in the Mason/Lebanon area.
A modest, gentle man he was known for his work ethic, can-do attitude, optimism and deep respect for the seasons of the earth and the seasons of life. His favorite saying was “The best is yet to come.”
His true joy was his family. He was married for 69 years to Alma (nee Cole), the love of his life, his soul mate. Theirs was a true partnership, an example of selflessness and faithfulness that lifted all who knew them. Their children were especially blessed to be nurtured and molded by their forever love.
He was loved, admired and will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Alma, his parents, William and Rose Federle, brothers William and Ralph, and sisters Betty and Clara Mae.
He is survived by his children: Nancy (Mark) Glorius, John (Sherry) Federle, William (Sherri) Federle and Mark (Nancy) Federle. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
