Amy M. Freeland (nee Baehr), of West Chester, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at her residence. She was born Saturday, October 22, 1966 in Mariemont, Ohio to William and Susan (nee Giesting) Baehr.
On Saturday, September 22, 1990, Amy married the love of her life, William Freeland. Together, they said "I Do" in St. Gertrude Church, Madeira, Ohio. With a heart of gold, Amy loved nothing better than being a mom and nana. With five children, her house was full of love and laughter. Amy's love was not only for her family, she had open arms to all. She will also be remembered for her infamous pan-seared steak, chili, chicken salad, and broccoli cheddar soup.
Amy was preceded in death by: her mother, Susan Baehr; and father-in-law, Charlie Jones.
Amy is survived by: husband, William "Bill" Freeland; children, Melissa (Patrick) Griffith, Courtney (Justin Lambert-Shahol) Freeland, Matthew (Sydney Shoopman) Freeland, Samantha Freeland, and Michael Freeland; grandchildren, Todd and Trevor Griffith; father, William (Jo) Baehr; sister, Lori (Rob) Schalk; best-friend, Janis Probert; puppy, Maxwell Biscuit; and many other loving family members and friends.
Memorial Mass will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 11:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069.
