Andrew Christopher Groeting

Andrew Christopher Groeting, of Silverton, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at the age of 39. He was born Wednesday, December 23, 1981 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Timothy J. and Teresa A. (nee Taylor) Groeting.

Andy could easily be described as an easy-going friendly guy. He was an avid sports fan and collector of baseball cards, with his favorite team being The Reds. His biggest accomplishment was becoming a dad to the best daughter a guy could ask for. Andy and Ellie both loved to collect squishmallows and looked forward to finding that one unique piece. He will be forever loved and cherished by those that knew him.

Andy was preceded in death by: paternal grandparents, Robert and Frances (nee Williams) Groeting; and an aunt, Kathy Taylor.

Andy is survived by: his daughter, Ellie Groeting; parents, Tim and Terri Groeting; brother, Tim Groeting; sister, Amber Groeting; niece, Reese E. Reis; maternal grandparents, George and Dona (nee Conley) Taylor; aunts and uncles, David Groeting, Gail (David) Jacoboski, Betsy (Jeff) Smith, Cindy (Don) Bradfield, and Dawn Perrin; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service at 12:00 noon at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
