Anthony C. E. Hall, age 71, passed away on January 19, 2024, at UC Medical Center. He was born to the late Arvel and Mary (Woods) Hall on November 15, 1952, in Hamilton, Ohio. Anthony joined the United States Army at the age of 17. He would serve as infantry and heavy equipment parts specialist until his honorable discharge in 1983 receiving a Purple Heart for his efforts. He also would receive a National Defense Ribbon, Good Conduct, 2 Overseas Bars, Vietnam Service Metal, Vietnam Campaign Metal, and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. The love for heavy equipment never faded and he spent all his adult life working in heavy equipment. He loved the thrill of searching for parts no matter how hard the search could be at times. Hobbies included spending time with family, teaching Connor how to work on cars, build anything that they set their minds to, and fishing every chance he got. He would spend most weekends until retirement and then most weekdays with his best friend Bob Ryder.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Karen James-Hall; children Anthony (Wendi) Hall, Brian Hall, Erin (Kyle) LeMaster; grandchildren Connor, Tyler, Dylan, Madeline, Kylie, Karter, Jordyn, Karleigh, Taylor, Larkin; great grandson, Oscar; mother-in-law Betty Riesenberg; siblings Arvel J. E. (Charlene) Hall, Alfred N. E. (Patricia) Hall, Arturo V. E. (Dawn) Hall and Arnold T. E. Hall and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Elizabeth D. Combs and brother Alvin G. E. Hall. A visitation will take place at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Rd Mason, Ohio 45040 on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 9:00am-10:30am with a memorial service to follow at 10:30am. An inurnment will take place at West Chester Township Cemetery.
