Antonino Peraino

Antonino Peraino, 90 of West Chester and formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Born to Vito and Catherine (nee Zerilli) Peraino on October 9, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan.

Nino was a computer programmer for many years. He can be best described as a hardworking and devoted family man. Nino/Tony was sweet, funny, and loving. He was very interested in genealogy, and spent countless hours researching and chronicling his family’s journey from Sicily to the US.

He was also a woodworker like no other. He had made many pieces of furniture for his family with his very own hands. Those pieces will forever be treasured.

Preceded in death by his parents, Vito and Catherine Peraino and siblings, Vito ‘Bill’ Peraino, Mary Stabile, Pat Perna, Jane LoPicclio and Nick Peraino.

Nino is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margherita (nee Palazzolo), three children, Vito (Laura) Peraino, Cathy (Santos) Soberon and JoAnn (Steve Boyak) Peraino, five grandchildren, Diana (Justin) Bishop, Luis (Casey) Soberon, Nick ‘Nino’ Soberon, Dominick Peraino and Rosie Peraino, four great-grandchildren, Caleb Bishop, Andrew Bishop, Thomas Soberon and Rosemary Soberon and many nieces and nephews.
