April Kristina Naylor, just 35, left us far too soon on April 10, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Wayne and Debra Naylor (nee Hendricks), who gave her the foundation of love, strength, and kindness that she carried with her throughout her life.
April wasn’t just a daughter, sister, wife, and mother—she was the heartbeat of our family. She graduated from William Mason high school and followed her dreams to Hocking College, where she studied Ecotourism and Adventure Travel with the same passion and determination she brought to everything she did. Wherever she went, she made people feel seen, heard, and loved.
She was the love of Eric Munchel’s life, and together they built a beautiful, joy-filled life. Her greatest pride and happiness came from being "Mommy" to Kai Dacey and Luna Munchel—her whole world. Everything she did, she did for them, pouring her heart into their every day. From bedtime stories to hibachi dinners she made from scratch just to see them smile—April lived for those little moments that made up a beautiful life.
Her love didn’t stop there—she adored her siblings Wendy (Brett Moreno) Hendricks, and Jett (Carla) Naylor, and she held a special bond with her grandparents, Jerrold Franklin Hendricks and Ardonna Hendricks. She was the fun and fiercely loving aunt to Joe Comer, Maggie Comer, and Danielle Naylor, and she had a place in her heart for every cousin, friend, and family member lucky enough to be part of her world.
April was sunshine and laughter. She had that kind of spark that could light up a room. She sang her heart out to 90s country hits—Reba, Whitney, Shania—and made every car ride feel like a concert. She found peace in nature, especially at the beach, her happy place. And she was unapologetically obsessed with all things Disney—bringing that magic to her home year-round, but especially during Halloween, when she transformed her house into something out of a storybook.
Her joy was infectious. Her kindness, endless. Her love, unwavering.
The family will be holding a private service to honor April’s life and spirit. If you feel moved to do something in her memory, the family kindly asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice—something that reflects April’s generous, giving heart.
She was our everything. And though we miss her more than words can say, we’ll carry her love with us, always.
April Kristina Naylor—your light will never dim.
