Armetta E. Schedl, 90, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away January 22nd, 2022.
Armetta was born in Big Springs, West Virginia on April 29th, 1931, the daughter of Frank and Artie Hardman. When Armetta was 18 she moved to Cleveland, Ohio, and worked at Mrs. Wagner's Pies. After moving to Bristolville, Ohio, she began her career as a Shift Supervisor in the Lightbulb Division at General Electric. She loved her job, eventually retiring in 1994.
Once retired, she had more time to enjoy her favorite pastimes - she loved to shop, play games (especially Monopoly), and try new foods. She was active in many charities and was always the first person to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Her passion in life was her beloved family: Her daughter Nancy (Steve) Wethington and her son Douglas Hardman, grandchildren Natalie (Andy), Katherine (Danny), Stephanie (Sam), and Madison (Austin). She also had two great-grandsons, Oliver and Felix.
She was preceded in death by husband John Schedl, seven brothers (Audrey, Freeman, Clifford, Ronzel, Junior, George and Thomas) and seven sisters (Lena, Nina, Belle, Alta, Betty, Caroline, and Jean).
There will be a Memorial in her honor on Saturday, January 29th at 11:00 AM. The services will be held at the Chapel in Chesterwood Village (8073 Tylersville Road, West Chester, OH 45069)
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
