Barbara Anne Elliot (nee Shumaker), 86 of West Chester, passed away on April 11, 2025. Born to Stephen and Marian (nee Buzek) Shumaker on January 6, 1939, in Akron, Ohio.
Barbara had a kind smile, a warm heart and a giggle that was contagious. She enjoyed life. Her positive attitude embraced the presence of others and her daily life quotes are what she lived by.
She collected all things related to angels and believed in the power of their support in your time of need.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Marian Shumaker, her two siblings, Stephen and Gloria and son in law, Barry Breig.
She is survived by her three daughters, Barbara Breig, Deborah (Brian) Telinda and Susan (Jeff) Voges, six grandchildren, Michael (Melissa), Jeff, Shawna (Chad), Brian Jr (Heather), Joey, Jaclyn (Colin), many great grandchildren and one sister, Marian Nickel.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th from 630-730pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.
