Barbara Kennedy

Barbara Elaine (nee Harris) Kennedy, 83 of West Chester, passed away on April 25, 2024. Born to Scott and Mary (nee Carty) Harris on June 22, 1940, in Hamilton County, Ohio.

Barb enjoyed cooking and going out to eat. If it surrounded her with family and good food, she was there.

She and Doug traveled often, but two of her favorite stops were Las Vegas and Lake Cumberland, Kentucky. Anytime spent with her children was time well spent for Barbara.

She was supportive of her sons. Attending all their activities and labeled their number one fan.

Barbara was loving, caring and a people person with an outgoing personality.

Preceded in death by her parents, Scott and Mary Harris, husband, Douglas Kennedy, sister and brother-in-law Norma and Bob Tyler, brother-in-law Jim Kennedy, and nephew, Phil Kennedy.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Kieth Kennedy, Craig (Charlene) Kennedy and Jim Kennedy, grandson, Ben Kennedy, siblings, Janet Kennedy, Pete (Connie) Harris and nieces and nephews, who she adored, Brenda (Alan), Scott (Eva), Sherri (Garry), Mike (John), Amy, Lori, Wayne (Rhonda), and Jody (Mike).

Private services will be held by the family. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
