Bernice Ferris

Bernice Caroline (nee Miller) Ferris, 94 of Cincinnati, passed away on May 8, 2024. Born to Edward and Carrie (nee Haunz) Miller on October 15, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

A lifelong resident of Ohio and a native of the city of Cincinnati, Bernice was a staple of her community. She enjoyed every aspect of the city, growing up on the west side and spending her summers at the Coney Island - Sunlite pool.

Bernice was committed to her daughters and grandchildren; she took time to be a part of their lives and kept in touch with everyone weekly.

Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Carrie Miller, husband, George John Ferris, and her siblings, Mildred Elcoff and Edward Miller.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Gary) Woeste and Lisa (Jon) Ketron, five grandchildren, Matt (Nicole) Woeste, Michael (Parker) Woeste, Lauren (Brandon) Barnett, Joe Woeste and Emily (Zach) Degn, great grandchildren, Ella, Margot and George Woeste and Owen Barnett and Faye Degn and brother, Calvin Miller.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14th from 9:00-10:30AM with a funeral service at 10:30AM all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. Interment to follow in Spring Grove Cemetery.
