Betty Lou Taylor

Betty Lou (nee Bloss) Taylor, 82 of Mason, passed away on August 25, 2023, in Hamilton, Ohio. Born to Roland Wayne and Amber (nee Tweed) Bloss on October 30, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a long time resident of Terrace Park.

An educator for many years, she taught home economics and was a guidance counselor. She enjoyed being with the young people and guiding them through the next chapter in their lives. Betty was voted "favorite teacher" by her students many years in a row.

She enjoyed sewing in her free time either by hand or with her machine, spending time with her animals or being with her family.

A wonderful mother and grandmother, a devoted wife for many years and she will be remembered by many for her kind and gentle manner.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Amber Bloss and sister, Barbara Bloss.

She is survived by children, Jay B. (Lynn) Taylor, Jeffrey T. (Amy) Taylor and Bethany Lou Taylor; loving grandma of Shaylyn (Sam), Kali, Zachary, Madelyn, Amber, Alyssa, Sydnee, Gracelin, Julia, Ashton, Brielle, Samantha and Mason; and great grandma of Anna and Abigail.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4th at noon at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
