Beverly Applegate

Beverly Lynne Applegate, 74 of West Chester, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, with her family by her side. Born to Austin and Marie (nee Bryant) Hauck on November 16, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Beverly has had a lifetime of service, sacrifice, compassion and kindness.

She was a very giving person to family, friends and even to strangers. She was thoughtful, selfless and had a strong faith. She devoted many hours of volunteer work with the West Chester Nazarene Church, God's Threads, funeral lunches and committees, military support groups and the Honor Flight Tri-State just to name a few.

Beverly provided in-home child care for many years and treated each child that walked through her door as her own. She created good foundations for a lot of children. Some of her favorite things she enjoyed were cooking and baking. She shared that joy with her children and the annual holiday seasons always consisted of a lot of baking and a lot of sharing. She enjoyed collecting little bottles of sand from multiple locations, collecting teddy bears, cardinals and souvenir spoons.

Preceded in her death by her parents, Austin and Marie Hauck.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mark Applegate, four children, Troy (Cheryl) Applegate, Lynne (Steve) Lear, Stephanie Applegate and Brent Applegate, grandson, Cory (Lashea) Webb and great grandson, Emmett Webb, one sister, Eloise (David) Smith and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 28th, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A private family service will be held and an interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Beverly's name to Honor Flight Tri State, Mission 22 or the West Chester Nazarene Church towards God's Threads.
