Blanche H. Scott

Blanche H. Scott, a remarkable matriarch and an amazing prayer warrior, was welcomed home to Heaven on January 5, 2025, by God, her husband Lyman, Grandaughter, Karyn (one month exactly after her passing) and so many others of her family and loved ones at the age of 91. She was born on July 14, 1933, in Cincinnati and went on to live a life characterized by love, faith, and an abundance of strength.

Blanche will be lovingly remembered for her fierce devotion to her family and her unwavering commitment to her faith. Her kind spirit and nurturing heart left a profound impact on everyone she encountered. As she was welcomed home to Heaven, she heard the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!"

She is survived by her loving sons, Charles (Patsy) Scott and Lyman (Gretchen) Scott, III, her cherished daughter Helen Scott, and her devoted daughter Regina (Jim) Toth. Blanche was the proud grandmother of Brian Ingram, Charles (Libby) Scott, II, Carolyn (Caleb) Ingram, Lyman (Jenna) Scott, IV, and James Toth, Jr. Additionally, she held dear her great-grandchildren, including Chelsie, Bri-anne (Josh), Brice (Kali), Chaney (Sean), Braelyn, Crew, James Lyman, Leah Grace, Alice, Rachael, Hailee, Dylan, and Lowell, along with six great-great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

Blanche's legacy of love extends into the memories of those who predeceased her, including her beloved husband Lyman E. Scott, Jr., the love of her life, her father Charles E. Phelps, her mother Geneva Mae (nee Meade) Phelps, as well as her son Arthur Scott and grandchildren Pamela Scott, Tina Scott, Karyn Toth, Arthur Ingram, Jason Ingram, and Joshua Ingram.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Blanche's remarkable life during visitation on January 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM at Mueller Funeral Home, located at 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason. Luncheon reception immediately following back at Mueller Funeral Home. 

Blanche H. Scott's devotion, love, and loving spirit will be profoundly missed by all whose lives she touched. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends as they continue to honor her legacy of love and faith.
