Carol Reed

Carol (Allee) Reed of Mason , passed away peacefully February 28, 2021 at the age of 90. She was born May 21, 1930 in Cincinnati to Alexander and Ruth (Langman) Allee and grew up in Madisonville. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kenneth E Reed, parents and brother Gilbert Allee.

She was the loving mother of Karen VonBargen, Sherri (Bill) Federle and Doug (Katey) Reed, grandmother of Matt and Brian VonBargen, Greg (Megan) Federle and Mike (Alyn) Federle, great grandmother of Charlie Reed Federle. Survived by sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Carol had a wonderful sense of humor, loved cooking, reading (mysteries), crossword puzzles, sewing and knitting. Raising a family was her pride and joy. Her love of children was reflected as a brownie leader, room mother, and tudor at Mason Schools. She retired in 1995 after 22 years as secretary for St. Susanna School.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Her body was donated to the University of Cincinnati Anatomical Gift Program. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or your favorite charity.
