Catherine L. Wheeler

Catherine L. Wheeler (nee Bowman), of West Chester, Ohio, passed away August 5, 2022 at the age of 90. She was born March 1, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Delbert and Mary (nee Fronsoe) Bowman.

Catherine was a dedicated Christian with a strong faith in God. Her husband Cliff of 73 years was the apple of her eye. She loved her home which they built and lived in together for over 54 years. She loved working in her yard and being outdoors. Catherine enjoyed antiquing and doing arts and crafts. She was the best wife, mom, mama, great mama, great great mama in the world. She adored and love spending time with each of her children and grand children and - as she would say "love them all equally." Her niece Sylvia had a special place in her heart.

Catherine was always being picked on by her family and would say; "You're going to miss me when I'm gone!" When they would ask."Where are you going?" She would point to heaven and say; "Up there!"
We'll mom.you're right, you are missed and will never be forgotten. The wonderful thing is we know where you are because you had a "First Class Ticket". Love you!

Catherine was preceded in death by: parents, Delbert and Mary Bowman; brother, Bud Bowman; sister, June Bowman; and her god-child, Kelsey.

Catherine is survived by: husband of 73 years, Clifford Wheeler; children, Steve (Becky) Wheeler, Tim (Mindy) Wheeler, Debbie (Steve) Hitch, Nedia Wheeler, and Tom (Betsy) Wheeler; grandchildren, Chris (Chandra) Wheeler, Heather Wheeler, Rachel (Jeremy) Bolender, Ashley (Mike) Engle, Adam (Rachel) Hitch, Elizabeth Wheeler, and Maddie Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Christopher Jr. (Aubrey) Wheeler, Abbie Wheeler, Landon Hitch, Lucas Hitch, and Lawson Hitch; great-great-grandchildren, Evie Grace Wheeler +1 on the way, Rett Wheeler; brother, Tommy Bowman; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment to immediately follow in West Chester Cemetery.
