Charles 'Chuck' Ellsworth

Charles 'Chuck' Ellsworth, 83 of Mason, OH passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023. Chuck was born in Rochester, NY to Robert and Jane Ellsworth.

Chuck is survived by Pat, his wife of 21 years, his former wife and mother of his children Jean Ellsworth, his children; Scott (Deanna) and Robert (Jenny) Ellsworth and Sarah (Joe) Kostka, Mark (Lori) Becker and Ellen Wieger, his loving grandchildren; Meghan, Thomas, Michael, Katie and Noah Ellsworth, Lauren and Ryan Kostka and Bree Wieger, great-grandchildren; Petra, Ezekiel and Odessa, and siblings Sharon Coffey, Bruce (Christine) Ellsworth. Preceded in death by his sister; Virginia Bunyard.

Chuck was a hardworking man. He spent endless hours working in his garden growing award-winning roses and many other flowers. He carefully placed rocks and formed an amazing rock garden. He was very proud of his accomplishments. He was a Master Gardener, member of the local and national rock garden society, and both the Cincinnati and Dayton hosta society.

He belonged to the Cincinnati Railroad Club and both the Cincinnati and Miami Valley Garden Railroad Clubs. He volunteered at EnterTrainment. He loved trains and had many to show. He ran tracks through the gardens that showed a beautiful display throughout. Chuck also spent many hours making a difference volunteering at his favorite charity organization, Our Daily Bread.

Visitation will be at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Friday, March 24 from 10 AM until time of Service at 11:00 AM. Reception will follow service at the Mueller Family Center. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
