Charles D. Walton

Charles D. "Chuck" Walton, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away September 29, 2023 at the age of 65, after a long, brave fight against colon cancer.  He was born April 17, 1958 in Maywood, California to Uless Leon and Julia Ann (nee Rowe) Walton.

Chuck got his B.S. in Engineering and M.B.A. at the Ohio State University where he also met the love of his life, Karen Cox.  For years, the couple enjoyed attending the games and supporting their alma mater.  Taking a tour of Europe was by far Chuck's favorite traveling experience with anywhere near the ocean a close second favorite.  Chuck loved cats and took great care of his five feline babies.

Chuck worked as an engineer for GE Aerospace and as a manager/program director for Northrup Grumman.  He thoroughly enjoyed the technical aspect of his job and the people he worked with.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Uless and Julia Walton.

Chuck is survived by: wife, Karen Cox; and siblings, Boyd Walton, Becky White, and Linda Catheter; and his best friends Duane Johnson and Bryan Price.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 noon at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Ohio State University or the American Cancer Society for Colon Cancer Research.
