Dr. Charles F. 'Charlie' Wiedenmann, 69 of Hamilton, beloved husband of Rose Wiedenmann (nee Harshbarger), loving father of Erin (Jason) Pohlmeier, Fred (Rose) Wiedenmann, Charlie Wiedenmann, Tim Wiedenmann, Christopher Wiedenmann, Heather Findley, grandfather of 11 grandchildren, Isaac, Clare, Dominic, Vincent, Damien, Faustina, Conrad, Edith, Theodore, Meaghan, and Curran; son of Fred and Mary (nee Masters) Wiedenmann; and brother of Mary Ann Rohleder, passed away on April 26, 2019.
Charlie was a school superintendent for 25 years in the Cincinnati area, and earned the Ohio Superintendent of the Year Award in 1998. He retired from Fairfield City Schools and then worked at Steed, Hammond, Paul, Inc. until he enjoyed complete retirement.
Charlie was an avid golfer, lover of boating and water-skiing, enjoyed a short stint as a private pilot, and spent his time traveling and enjoying family
Visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Monday, April 29 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Visitation will be held at St. Maximillian Kolbe Parish, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45011 on Tuesday, April 30 from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to OHC at Jewish Hospital and the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish.
