Christine A. "Tina" Koelewijn

Christine A. "Tina" Koelewijn (nee Muddiman), of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 13, 2019 in the comfort of her home at the young age of 58. She was born Tuesday, December 20, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Bradley and Shirley (nee Thayer) Muddiman.

Christine had a love of her country that was admirable. She was proud of the American Flag and all that it stood for. If you listen to talk radio, you have most likely heard Christine on the radio as she would never hesitate to call with her opinion. Her love of traveling to new places provided the unique opportunity to place two flags on the beach at Normandy to represent to unknown soldiers from Ohio. If there was a parade honoring veteran's or the United States, you could depend on Christine being there.

Christine enjoyed traveling and experiencing new cultures. If the destination included the ocean, it made it that much better. She also enjoyed trying new restaurants where she was never shy to share her opinion on the food or the service.

Christine was preceded in death by her father, Bradley Muddiman; sister, Roseanne Teague; brother, Steven Muddiman; and her fur-babies, Rowdy and Kees. What a fantastic reunion it must have been.....

Christine is survived by: husband of 21 years, Otto A. Koelewijn; children, Jessica Zimpelman and Daniel Zimpelman; grandchild, Jaxon Cuozzo; siblings, Sherrie Melford, Bobbie Brandenburg, Bradley (Cynthia) Muddiman, and Richard (Connie) Muddiman; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arie and Lubbertje Koelewijn; siblings-in-law, Wim (Ellen) Koelewijn, Aly (Gerrit) Hop and Jan-Peter (Carla) Koelewijn; and many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. The Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. The family will continue celebrating Christine's life with a reception immediately following the memorial service at the Funeral Home.
