Cleatis Richen

Cleatis Ann Richen (nee Burchwell) , 79 of Mason, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Born to Otus and Myrtle (nee Brown) Burchwell on January 6, 1942 in Hunter, Kentucky.

Cleatis worked as an Assembler for over 20 years for Avon. She has been an active and devoted member of the Solid Rock Church since the mid-90s. She has enjoyed volunteering, singing in the choir and being the leader of the Gardening Ministry with the church.

Gardening with flowers, swimming in her pool and decorating for the holidays are what made Cleatis smile. She loved the look on her neighbors faces when she decorated for Christmas.

Preceded in death by her parents, Otus and Myrtle Burchwell, and two siblings, Roberta Haines and Larry Burchwell.
Cleatis survived by her loving husband, Ronald Richen, four children, Gary D. (Debbie) Hubbard, Tami (Jimmy) Langevin, Tina M. Baker and Tara (Tony) Carmichael, nine grandchildren, Derrick M. Koller, Stephanie M. (Derek) Boesken, Jeanette N. (KC) Weil, Amanda M. (Robert) Wallingford, Brandon J. Koller, Rebecca L. Hubbard, Zachary R. Hubbard, Veronica R. Hubbard and Ariella Middlemiss, sixteen great-grandchildren, one brother, James (Susan) Burchwell, three nephews and four nieces.

A private service will be held by the family. Memorial donations may be made in Cleatis Richen's name to Restoration Ranch; which is on the grounds (being built) of the Solid Rock Church. The Restoration Ranch is going to be an orphanage for boys - they currently have another building on the church property that is housing girl orphans.
