Clifford Dennis "Denny" Perry,
of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the age of 81. He was born Sunday, August 7, 1938 in Wyoming, Ohio to Clifford C. and Angela (née Grieshop) Perry.
While he had many different passions in life, Denny was devoted to his one true love, his wife Ann (née Kuhlman). Together, they built a home filled with laughter and love. Denny's optimism and can-do spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Denny was preceded in death by: parents, Clifford and Angela Perry; and brother, Curtis Perry.
Denny is survived by: wife, Ann Perry; children, Amy (Brian) Welch, Mark (Karen) Perry, Michael (Nicole) Perry, and Jim (Lynn) Perry; grandchildren, Monica (Alejandro) Gonzalez, Stephen Perry, David Welch, Daniel Perry, Lauren Perry, Katie Perry, Gregory Welch, Nicholas Perry, Olivia Perry, and Christopher Perry; great-grandson, AJ Gonzalez; sisters, Patricia (Ray) Becker, Beatrice Perry, and Barbara (Joe) Siegert; and many loving family members and friends.
He graduated from Elder High School and continued his education at Xavier University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Denny was a Xavier ROTC Battery Commander and went on active duty in the United States Army. After serving two years, First Lieutenant Perry returned to Xavier University completing a Master's of Business Administration and dedicating 38 years to General Motors, retiring as a Quality Control Engineer.
A long-time Ham Radio operator, Denny participated in the Navy Mars and volunteered at Voice of America. He also had a contagious enthusiasm for antique cars and was an active member of the ACE CarClub.
A devout member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Denny was an usher for many years. He lived his faith seriously and volunteered with Matthew 25: Ministries and other organizations.
A LIMITED VISITATION will be held on Monday, June 8, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the funeral home is asking visitors to follow social distancing of 6 feet. We ask that once you greet the family, you exit and allow other guests the opportunity to visit as there will be a restriction on the number of guests in the building at one time.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held PRIVATELY FOR FAMILY on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9080 Cincinnati Dayton Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069. Interment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
