Cynthia "Cindy" Scheid

Cynthia "Cindy" Scheid, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully early morning on Sunday, May 26, 2019 in the comfort of her home at the age of 62.

The daughter of a minister, Cindy had the opportunity to experience many different cultures while living on Native American land as well as living in many different cities and states. After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, she accepted a pharmacist position at University Hospital in Cincinnati.

As a pharmacist for 40 years in various hospitals and home care agencies in the Cincinnati area, she particularly enjoyed learning new skills while also sharing her knowledge with pharmacy students and technicians (her "work sons" and "work daughters").

Cindy found the time to volunteer as a elementary school helper, baseball score keeper (bench mom), and both a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout leader. She spent many weeks at summer camp as well as weekends in the wilderness. As a lover of the outdoors, she enjoyed hiking, camping, riding her bicycle or even just sitting in her backyard. With a passion for life, Cindy was an advocate for Life Center, volunteering at many events and sharing her story about organ donation. However, her greatest passion, what she loved the most, was being a mom to her boys Jared and Tyler.

In addition to her sons, Cindy is survived by: husband of 33 years, Timothy Scheid; sister, Carolyn (Morgan) Dallman; brother, Stephen (Cathy)Woodruff; brothers-in-law, Tom (Marilee) Scheid, Steve (Jan) Scheid and Matt (Aura) Scheid; sisters-in-law, Sue (Tom) Powers, Anne (Bob) Jasinski and Terri (Lucas) Paz; many nieces, nephews, family members, work sons, work daughters, colleagues and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by: her parents, Rev. H. Raymond Woodruff and Monica Woodruff.

She will be forever loved and missed by all that knew her.

Her remains were donated to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Celebrate the contributions Cindy made in our lives from 6:30 PM until 10 PM on Friday June 28th at the Leming House in Miami Township Community Park 5951 Buckwheat Rd, Milford, OH 45150 .
