Daniel T. Louis

Daniel T. Louis, of Mason, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the age of 69. He was born Tuesday, July 31, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to George Thomas and Donna Marie (nee Fisher) Louis.

Dan was a 1969 graduate of the William Mason High School. While working his way through college at a furniture store, he met the love of his life. Who could have guessed that a couple pieces of furniture would turn into a lifetime of happiness? On Saturday, November 23, 1974, Dan married the love of his life, Alesia Ann Franklin. Together, they raised two children and created a lifetime of memories. In 1982 Dan started his career as a national account executive at Central Transport where he worked for over 25 years in logistics. Dan enjoyed getting out on the green as often as he could, and shot a hole-in-one at Heatherwoode Golf Course. He maintained many of his high school friendships, getting together once a week with his "Book Club". With a second home in Englewood, Florida, Dan looked forward to the warm weather, sunshine filled courses and leisure time with those he loved most. He will forever be cherished by those that knew and loved him.

Dan was preceded in death by: parents, George and Donna Louis.

Dan is survived by: wife of 46 years, Alesia "Lisa" Louis; son, Matthew (Kristi Swanger) Louis; daughter, Elizabeth (Scott) Hopf; grandchildren, Andrew Hopf, Jacob Swanger, and Mia Scorti; brother, Mark (Paula Conover-Packer) Louis; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, December 11, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. State of Ohio mandates face masks/coverings be worn, and social distancing guidelines followed. Words of Remembrance will be shared by the family at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Seating will be limited as social distancing guidelines are followed. Interment will immediately follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
