Daniel D. Pawlowski, lovingly known as "DP", of South Lebanon, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family Friday, July 10, 2020 at the age of 76. He was born Monday, July 12, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Roman and Lottie (nee Nowicki) Pawlowski.
Daniel struck gold on July 2, 1966 when he finally got to marry the girl he had been chasing after. On that Saturday, at St. Romans Church in Milwaukee, Louise Evans said "I DO" and the couple were off on a lifetime of adventures. As a Tool & Die Engineer, Dan had uniques opportunities to help design some very memorable toys through Kenner and Fisher Price, later retiring from Grand Die Engravers. His career provided ample opportunities to travel abroad visiting Portugal, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Which is bigger? The story or the fish? Either way, Dan excelled at both. He loved to fish and looked forward to every opportunity he could drop a line in the water. His story telling was like no other and would keep others in stitches for hours. With an eye for design, Dan created masterpiece carved pumpkins every fall, an activity the family looked forward to every year.
With a personality as big as Texas, Dan never met a stranger. He loved to have fun and make sure others had fun along the way. Dan will forever be cherished by those that knew and loved him.
Dan was preceded in death by: parents, Roman and Lottie Pawlowski; daughter, Melissa Mellberg; and brother, Allen Pawlowski.
Dan is survived by: wife, Louise Pawlowski; daughters, Michele (Ryan) Brown and Jessie (Tommy) Mangold; grandchildren, Hayley (Dylan) Burton, Mitchell (Joecy) Brown, Grace Mangold, and Thomas Mangold; great-grandchildren, Luke & Colt Burton, and Faith, Liam, & Ava Brown; brother, David (Ruth) Pawlowski; and many other loving family members and friends.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at the Community of the Good Shepherd Church, 8815 East Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.
