Daniel Wenning

Daniel Joseph Wenning, 74, passed away peacefully at his home in West Chester, Ohio on October 31, 2022.

Dan was a lifelong resident of the Cincinnati area, a 1966 graduate of La Salle High School, and retired from a career of 35 years with General Electric.

He enjoyed coaching little league baseball and basketball, cheering on the Bengals and spending time with his granddaughter. His gentle spirit, kindness, and fun sense of humor will long be remembered and loved by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Edwin (Clem) and Mary Kathryn (Cass) Wenning.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Weaver) Wenning; son, Joseph Wenning; granddaughter, Grace Wenning; brother, Mike (Jane) Wenning; sister, Mary Beth (Jim) Miller; sister-in-law, Amy Weaver; nephew, Todd Wenning (Kate) and niece, Lauren Wenning.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, December 2, at 1:30 p.m. at Wetherington Golf and Country Club in West Chester.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School. Donations should be written to MTCES in memory of Daniel Wenning, addressed to 7197 Mother Teresa Lane, Liberty Township, Ohio 45044
