Danny Headley

Danny Headley, age 73, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025. He was born on September 28, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Walter “Bud” and Marilyn (nee Poth) Headley.

Danny dedicated part of his life to serving his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army, where he showcased his deep sense of loyalty and commitment.

He is forever remembered as a loving husband to Anita, who preceded him in death in 2016. Their bond remains a cherished memory for all who knew them.

Danny’s legacy lives on through his beloved children: Angela Jones, Natasha (Jeremy) Lindgren, Wendy (Tom) Hall, Nathan (Sarah) Headley, and Danielle (Jason) Arrasmith. He was a proud grandfather to Austin, Gabrielle, Destiny (Mason), Zoe Alexis, Connor (Amber), Taylor, Ayden, Abbey, Lucy, Bobby, Maddy Zoe Beth, Ezekial, and Zander, as well as a joyful great-grandfather to Easton and Henry. He is also survived by his siblings, Pam (Larry) Wilson, Kim (Jack) Bates, Laury (Teresa) Angel, and Jeff (Betty) Headley, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who adored him.

Danny had a passion for music, often filling his home with the sounds of rock music on the radio or with his guitar. He enjoyed the peacefulness of fishing, reading, and songwriting. Danny was an avid sports fan; and could often be found enjoying a game or race on TV. He took great pride in his work at the Consolidated Container (Continental Can Company), from which he retired. Danny’s meticulous nature shone brightly in the care and attention he dedicated to his lawn and flowers, which many admired.

Above all, Danny found his greatest joy in his family. The love and laughter he shared with his children and grandchildren were particularly significant to him following the loss of his dear wife. Danny’s warm sense of humor and undeniable ability to make those around him smile will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home (6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040), followed by a luncheon at the Mueller Funeral Home Family Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America in honor of Danny's service and dedication.
