Darla Sue Wiley

Darla Sue Wiley, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the age of 75.  She was born August 27, 1948 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Family meant the world to Darla, and she would do just about anything to make sure those she loved were happy.  She never backed down from a task she had never done, but rather took the time to learn and complete the project, usually with a smile.  From sewing clothes, spending hours in the garden, to completing hair and make-up for dance recitals, Darla was there.

With perhaps the kindest of hearts and gentlest of spirits, Darla was a friend to everyone she met.  This extended to her pets that she considered her “fur-babies”.  With an enormous amount of “best-friends”, Darla will be forever loved and cherished.

Darla was preceded in death by: father, William Langley; mother, Ann Cole; and siblings, Joy Langley and Kay Langley.

Darla is survived by: her wife, Lisa Neu Johnson-Wiley; children, Kyle (Nadia) Pirkle, Erica Johnson, and Chris Johnson; grandchildren, Kyle Pirkle, Kennedy Pirkle, Madison Johnson, Logan Johnson, Deven Johnson, Braylen Johnson, and Bryce Johnson; momma who helped raise her, Virginia Crawford; and many loving friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at First Christian Church, 4520 Rosedale Road, Middletown, Ohio 45042.  A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Wilder officiating at the church.
