David D. Back

David D. Back, 72, of Deerfield Township, passed away on Sunday, July 16th, 2023.  He was born on February 16th, 1951 to Luther and Virginia (Taylor) Back in West Chester.

Dave was a very hard working man, and applied his strengths to all areas of his life.  He graduated high school and moved on to receive his Associates Degree and necessary training to become an X-Ray Technician.  From there, he became a valued employee of GE for over 30 years.  He was an avid gardener and landscaper, and loved to travel, especially to the beach.  He was a seafood lover and baseball fan, and his teams were the Reds and Cubs.  He also loved NASCAR, and was able to attend races with his family, at Daytona, Talladega, and Kentucky Speedway.

He was strong and loyal, and loved his family dearly—especially his grandkids, and the family knew him as the absolute best Papa.  Dave was a good man, and will be greatly missed.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Virginia; and his wife of over 40 years, Linda Back.

Dave is survived by his daughter Tara Wells and her fiancé Chad Leeds; his grandchildren Wyatt Glazer, Tanner Glazer, and Addison Leeds; and his brothers John Back and Jeff Back.

A Memorial Service will be held to honor Dave’s life on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023 at 10:30am at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason Ohio.
