DAVID BUCKEY LIVE STREAM SERVICE

David Alden Buckey, 93 of West Chester, OH passed away on October 26, 2022. Born to Harold E. and G. Eulalia (nee Smith) Buckey on January 21, 1929, in Akron, Ohio.

Dave was a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University and Boston University School of Theology spending nearly 40 years of his life as an ordained United Methodist Minister. He had a passion to serve his community and the people within his church family.

David's work extended through the many spiritual and educational trips he took with his wife, Caroline, and his church community to the Holy Land, England, and Scotland to name a few. While traveling for work, David and Caroline fell in love with cruising all over Europe and trips to Hawaii, Alaska, and Australia.

David was very good at managing his priorities in life and balancing his time between his work, his family, and his fun. He was an excellent husband and father, and a devoted minister to the United Methodist Community.

Preceded in death by his parents, Harold and G. Eulalia Buckey and two brothers, Harold M. Buckey and Warren E. Buckey.

David is survived by his wife of 68 years, Caroline (nee Cooper) Buckey, two sons, David E. (Jean) Buckey and Alan H. (Karen) Buckey, seven grandchildren, David (Amanda) Buckey, Dan Buckey, Caroline (Marshall) Polaris, James Buckey, Mitchell Buckey, Grace Buckey and Kristen Buckey, and two great grandchildren, Shelby Buckey and Elliott Polaris.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1st from 10:00am-11:00am with a funeral service at 11:00am all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. A live stream of the funeral service will be available at www.MuellerfuneralS.com . Interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
