David Eugene Life, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 21, 2024, two days short of his 78th birthday.

Dave was born and raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia. During his sophomore year at Parkersburg High School, he met the love of his life, Ann. Dave and Ann were married on November 30, 1968.

Dave was co-captain of the Parkersburg High School Big Red basketball team.  From PHS, Dave went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business at Marshall University. While at Marshall, he was a member and served as President of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.  During his 33-year career at Procter & Gamble, Dave earned the respect of his colleagues with his logistical expertise. He was loved by everyone for his story-telling ability. Affectionately known as Bubba by his family and friends, Dave was an avid golfer recording an incredible four holes-in-one, two of which were at Four Bridges Country Club, where he was a long-standing member. Dave also enjoyed playing tennis, especially at Harper's Point Racquet Club.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Life and Dorothy May Life.

Dave is survived by: his loving wife of 55 years, Ann DeBussey Life; sons, Scott (Laura) Life and Bryan Life; grandchildren, Sophia Life, Tommy Life, and Hailey Life; brother, Don (Julie) Life; nephew Nick (Sarah) Life and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, January 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:30 AM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Dave Life to UC Health Foundation (please indicate Cardiology Department), 3200 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45229.
