Deborah "Debi" Lung (nee Atkins), of Liberty Township, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the young age of 68. She was born Wednesday, November 1, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio to James and Dorothy (nee Volk) Atkins.
Family was first as far as Debi was concerned. Every Christmas season, she and the family would gather to have a bake-fest of the most amazing cookies. Her family will fondly remember her love of games, candy and coffee.
Debi was preceded in death by: parents, James and Dorothy Atkins; and a son, David M. Lung.
Debi is survived by: husband of 51 years, Robert J. Lung, Sr.; children, Robert J. (June) Lung, Jr. and Thomas M. (Melissa) Lung; grandchildren, Olivia Lung, Tyler Lung, Owen Lung and Alexander Lung; great-grandson, Riley Lung; siblings, Cheryl (John) Knueven; Margaret D. Knueven, Lawrence J. (Donna) Atkins, Judith (Rock) Stayton and Susanne E. (Jim) Carnes; and many loving family members.
Visitation will be Friday, September 20, 2019 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati Dayton Road, West Chester, OH 45069.
