Debra Kay Monroe

Debra Kay (nee Gross) Monroe, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully June 24, 2022 at the age of 62. She was born April 14, 1960 in Lima, Ohio to Paul E. and Patrica A. (nee Banister) Gross.

Debbie married the love of her life, Franklin K. Monroe. Together, they created a home filled with love and laughter to raise their four children in. Debbie was a dedicated mom and encouraged each one to become their own person. As the family grew with grandchildren, so did her smile and heart. Debbie relished her role as a grandma and looked forward to witnessing the family continue to grow.

Born with a nurturing heart, Debbie loved to serve others. Her latest community gift was creating greeting cards, sending them to others offering encouragement, support, and a reason to smile. With the ability to craft, Debbie also enjoyed quilting with other members of Tri County Baptist Church.

Debbie touched many lives. Her kindness and generosity will be forever cherished by those that loved her.

Debbie was preceded in death by: parents, Paul and Patricia Gross.

Debbie is survived by: husband, Frank Monroe; children, Jeff Monroe, Kristen (Chad) Richman, Katrina (Kevin) Rub, and Kelly (Jacob) Mullins; grandchildren, Patrick Richman, Andrew Richman, Daniel Rub, and Baby Mullins; and many loving family members and church family.

A Memorial Service will be Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Tri County Baptist Church, 8195 Beckett Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069.
